She was quiet as she changed clothes casting a side long glance to the mirror in front of her. She didn't look any different from normal. No signs of her pending pregnancy was there, and there was no sign of her being in terribly health either. She had to wonder if it was just because some people liked to have power to lord over others, she had gotten into the medical field, to help others, her helping had led to experimentation because they didn't want to fund research, and she had been so close to a break through, when they had pulled the plug, not only on her work but on her, she was not as bitter about it as she had been, and her Doctor was far more indignant about it than she was.

The autumn colored slacks slid down her hips as she prepared for bed. It was something to think about, why play god ? Why tell one poor couple who wanted nothing more than to have the baby they had never thought they'd have.

Something, she supposed never changed, but still it was something she'd continue to think about.
